Student Accident Insurance (Voluntary)
The School District provides access to student accident insurance to help cover medical expenses if a student is injured during school hours or school-sponsored activities.
This coverage is optional and is provided through an external insurance provider.
What This Coverage Is
Student accident insurance helps cover eligible medical expenses resulting from accidental injuries that occur:
- On school property
- During school-sponsored activities
- During athletics (if applicable to the plan selected)
What To Do If Your Student Is Injured
If your student is injured:
- Report the injury to the school or location immediately
- The school will document the incident and provide guidance
- Review available insurance coverage
Important Information
- This is not a liability claim against the District
- Coverage is provided through a third-party insurance provider
- Claims are handled directly through the insurance provider
