Facility Rentals

The School District of Lee County offers a fully online facility rental system to provide a seamless and efficient user experience. Through this system, all new reservation requests for any Lee County school facility can be easily submitted and processed efficiently.

With the Facilitron Facility Rental Request System, users can:

  • Access photos and detailed descriptions of facilities,
  • View real-time availability,
  • Receive estimated quotes, and
  • Make secure online payments.

Digital Process & Policies

While the facility rental process is now fully digital, all rules, policies, and procedures for facility use remain in accordance with the District’s School Board Policies. Administrative fees set by the Lee County School District are accessible on Facilitron.

Facilitron Features:

  • Assistance with creating organization and user accounts.
  • Verification of non-profit status (if applicable).
  • Collection of payments on behalf of the District via multiple payment methods, including major credit cards, checks, ACH/eCheck, and PayPal.
  • Easy uploading of proof of insurance (certificate of insurance).

Security Requirements:

For events involving the public, it is mandatory to arrange for security detail to ensure the safety of the community, the students and the School District of Lee County, Florida.

Facility Rental Guidelines

Purpose

The purpose of this procedure is to establish rules, conditions, and fees for the use of Lee County School District facilities, including grounds, as outlined in the School Board Policy.

Prohibited Uses

  1. District facilities cannot be used for activities that violate Board policies, administrative procedures, or State and Federal laws.
  2. Activities that may damage school facilities or interfere with District operations are prohibited.

Schedule of Fees

Fees are determined based on associated costs, including:

  • Custodial services,
  • Energy consumption,
  • Covid-19 cleaning,
  • Maintenance and repair (particularly for athletic facilities).

The schedule of fees is available on Facilitron.

Scheduling & Priority of Use

  • Facilities may be scheduled no less than two (2) weeks and no more than one (1) year in advance.
  • Scheduling must be coordinated with the school or facility being rented.
