School Psychologists

The School District of Lee County is seeking full-time School Psychologists for the current and upcoming school year who love working with children and values working with passionate educators!

Position Overview

To support students, families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community.

Qualifications

  • A degree from a specialist-level program of study (e.g., EdS, PsyS, CAGS, Masters) from a National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) or American Psychological Association (APA) accredited or approved graduate training program in school psychology.
  • Valid Florida certification to practice as a school psychologist.
  • Eligible for Nationally Certified School Psychologist credential preferred.

Salary Information

  • Base salary = $62,500 for 196 contract days annually
  • Extended contracts and summer supplements available
  • Position is also eligible for additional supplements if the following criteria are met:
  • School Psychologist with NASP Certification - $8,100.00
  • School Psychologist without NASP certification- $7,492.50
  • Licensed Psychologist - $607.50
  • Specialist Degree- $4,050.00
  • Doctorate Degree- $5,062.50

Paid School Psychology Internship Opportunities

We are offering 4 paid internships in school psychology including health & retirement benefits.

Position Overview

We are a district with a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CLD) community & student population.
Our interns participate in all professional learning provided to our school psychologists
Our 4Q Intern Rotation Model provides experiences in pre-K - 12th grade
Interns are key members of their school-based MTSS team and mental health teams.
High poverty & Title I school placements available.
Access to a large assessment library.
Field supervision provided by a Florida certified School Psychologist with clinical educator supervision experience

Salary Information

  • Base Salary of $20.00 per hour for 196 days ($31,360.00)
  • Additional salary supplements are available for Saturday and Summer evaluation clinics.
  • Health Benefits paid for by the district
  • Local mileage paid from school to school
