Minimum Requirements

1. High School Diploma

2. One of the following

• 48 College Credit Hours

  •  Official transcripts may be submitted to the School District of Lee County in one of the following formats:

    • Sealed copy through U.S. Mail addressed to: The School District of Lee County, Human Resources, 2855 Colonial Blvd. Fort Myers, FL 33966-1012

    • Electronic Mail to: [email protected]

      • We must receive them from the National Student Clearinghouse or Parchment.  Electronic transcripts from the candidate will be considered unofficial. Please note that not all colleges/universities participate in the electronic transcript exchange.

• Passing Scores on the Parapro Exam (450 or higher)

• Current Instructional Support personnel can apply to FGCU's Special Education Program, and be eligible for tuition support.
