Application Process - Teacher (Instructional)

Step 1: Create an Account and Apply for Specific Instructional Positions

  • Create a new account or sign in with an existing external account through apply.leeschools.net.
    Note: Current Employees must sign in to PeopleSoft to apply for advertised vacancies.
  • NEW! Apply to instructional positions.
  • Attach/upload your resume.

Note: Utilizing the most recent Chrome browser is preferred.  Deleting temporary internet files (cache and cookies) may be necessary to access our application site.   

Step 2: Submit Required Documents

  • Official transcripts may be submitted to the School District of Lee County in one of the following formats:
    • Sealed copy through U.S. Mail addressed to: The School District of Lee County, Human Resources, 2855 Colonial Blvd. Fort Myers, FL 33966-1012
    • Electronic Mail to: [email protected]
      • We must receive them from National Student Clearinghouse or Parchment.  Electronic transcripts from the candidate will be considered unofficial. Please note that not all colleges/universities participate in the electronic transcript exchange.
  • If applicable, a Florida Educator's Certificate or Statement of Eligibility may be submitted. Visit the Florida Department of Education to apply or look-up your status.  
  • Non-Education Majors:  Human Resource Senior Generalists on staff may review your transcripts and help guide you on a pathway to certification.  To connect with our team, send us an email at [email protected].
