Riverdale High Senior Konnor VonHagen doesn't only play three sports, but he excels at every one of them while having at least one accomplishment in every surface he plays on. He also gives everything he has for his studies and community while juggling sports.

The School District of Lee County is pleased to announce the Lee County Athletic Conference Hall of Fame inductees for 2024. Five athletes, two coaches, and one contributor are being recognized for their outstanding athletic accomplishments for their school or their students.

The School District of Lee County is excited to announce the launch of Upskill Village to provide adult learners with micro-credentials to help them in the workforce. Upskill Village teaches behaviors and non-technical skills that are used to interact with colleagues and clients.

Of the six Lee County students who qualified as semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program this year, three go to the same school: Dunbar High. Lee Schools TV student intern Itzel Lugo-Hernandez visited the campus and asked the trio how they got to where they are.

The School Board of Lee County represented the School District of Lee County at the State Capitol in Tallahassee on January 17-18, 2024, to actively participate in the 37th Annual Day in the Legislature hosted by the Florida School Boards Association (FSBA).

The School Board of Lee County is actively searching for members to join their Finance Advisory Committee. The Finance Advisory Committee (FAC) is the Citizens' Budget Advisory Committee for the School District of Lee County and provides input, advice, and support in the preparation of the operating and capital budget.

The School District of Lee County is proud to announce the graduation rate for the Class of 2023 rose to 85.1%, tying the mark set two years ago for the second highest in District history.
