It teaches the students the values of caring about other people, honesty, responsibility, and other important traits that make for an upstanding citizen. Teaching good character assists students in facing many opportunities and unknown dangers they may confront. Character education gives students the knowledge they need to identify dangers in life and deal with them properly.
