The half-cent sales tax would directly impact the way students learn and develop. If it is passed by voters on Nov. 6, it will help address capacity by adding six new schools, and it will fund the following capital improvements and projects planned for Orangewood Elementary over the next 10 years (2019-2029):

  • Marquee Sign Maintenance and Repairs
  • Mulch Fall Surfaces
  • Paving Seal Coat and Stripe
  • Resurfacing of Sports Areas
  • Safety and Security Improvements
  • Security - Emergency Lighting
  • Technology Upgrades
