All-County Middle and High School Honor Chorus Concert

On Thursday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m. the most outstanding singers in middle and high schools from across Lee County will participate in a joint chorus concert at Cape Coral High School.

The event will challenge singers and enhance their performance techniques, as only the very best of the Lee County School District choral music programs will perform.
Chorus teachers have selected their top vocalists to represent their schools. Students nominated for this event are recognized by their teachers for their musicianship and leadership.

Shane Thomas Jr. will serve as a guest clinician for the high school ensemble for the concert and rehearsals. Thomas is the Choral Director of Martin County High School OPUS and Assistant Director of Treasure Coast Community Singers.

Mark Hardin is the guest clinician for the middle school ensemble during the concert and rehearsals. Hardin is the Chorus Director at Jackson Heights Middle School in Oviedo.

The concert is open to the public at no charge. Tickets are not required. Cape Coral High School is located at 2300 Santa Barbara Blvd. in Cape Coral. For more information on this free event please call Leigh Byer, Fine & Performing Arts, at (239) 461-8411.
