Lee FlexEd Creates New Learning Opportunities

The School District of Lee County is excited to launch Lee FlexEd, an opportunity for homeschool and private school students to use the Florida Empowerment Scholarship to attend select classes on one of our campuses. Lee FlexEd opens enrollment at our schools in JROTC, the Arts, and Career Academies through the MyScholarshop marketplace.

Lee FlexEd is a fee-based program. Students can use the scholarship funding provided to them to enroll in JROTC, the Arts, or Career Academy classes. These classes will be held in person, and in some cases, allow for participation in extra-curricular activities.

The School District is developing the list of courses and costs and will finalize the offerings in July. To help with this process, students interested in flexing their homeschool or private school schedules with Lee FlexEd are asked to fill out a short survey. A survey should be filled out for each interested student. Once the courses and costs are determined, details will be provided to those who expressed an interest in Lee FlexEd.
