"This is a historic moment for Lee County Schools, and I couldn't be prouder of our students, teachers, and school teams," said Superintendent Dr. Denise Carlin. "A 89.8% graduation rate, the highest we've ever achieved with our traditional high school above 90%, shows that our investments in quality teachers and student support are paying off. Every percentage point represents real students earning their diplomas and opening doors to their future. While we celebrate this milestone, we won't rest on our success. Our goal is to become Florida's top-performing school district, and this achievement shows we're moving in the right direction."

In addition to the historic graduation rate achievement, the School District also recorded its lowest dropout rate ever at 1.5%, demonstrating Lee County's success in keeping students engaged and on track to graduation.
