The School District of Lee County is proud to announce that 47 talented student musicians have been selected to participate in the Florida Music Educators Association (FMEA) All-State performing groups, earning recognition among the finest young musicians in Florida.

After 27 years as Head Coach of the Fort Myers High Green Wave football team, Coach Sam Sirianni Jr. is retiring. This ends a 57 year run of a Sirianni running the team.

Students from Riverdale High School took a trip to Manatee Park to get an up-close look at one of Florida's most iconic wildlife creatures.

Five athletes, two coaches, and one contributor are being recognized for their outstanding athletic accomplishments for their school or their students.

The School District of Lee County is honoring Career and Technical Education in the month of February. Step inside of South Fort Myers High School, one of three high schools in the district that offer a veterinary program. It's taught by Ms. Nickles, as she instructs her students on how to handle animals with care.
