Lee County Youth Policy Summit Expo

The School District of Lee County ESOL Department, in partnership with the Close Up Foundation, will host the Close Up - Lee County Youth Policy Summit on Friday, February 28, 2025. 75 ESOL students will present and exhibit their personally developed Florida Legislative Policy Proposals.

This Expo is a follow-up to the 2024-25 Close Up – Rally to Tally, where students presented their legislative agendas to state-elected officials in Tallahassee. It provides a unique opportunity for community members to interact, discuss, and give feedback to students about their ideas on how to improve their communities.

The Close Up – Lee County Youth Policy Summit Expo will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on February 28th at the Crown Plaza Fort Myers Gulf Coast, 9931 Interstate Commerce Dr. A video from last year’s Expo.
