The School District of Lee County is proud to announce it has received the platinum level Aetna Workplace Well-being Award. As an employer with a strong commitment to improving the health of its employees, the School District features a comprehensive well-being strategy that employees are passionate about.

At Veterans Park Academy for the Arts, a strong behind-the-scenes team keeps each school day running smoothly. Senior Administrative Assistant Eileen Estevez, who has served the District for more than 16 years, plays a key role in coordinating support for teachers, staff, and students.

Florida Concrete and Products Association held its sixth annual clay shoot at the Bermont Shooting Club. Their efforts were able to raise thousands of dollars for pre-apprenticeship programs for the School District of Lee County.

The Florida School Boards Association (FSBA) is proud to recognize Samuel Fisher, Lee County School Board Member, as their newest Certified Board Member (CBM).
