Three Cape Coral siblings are thriving in the School District's 'Lee Home Connect' educational model.

The District has been awarded Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.

A year ago, three Franklin Park Elementary siblings tragically lost their mother. Needing help, their grandmother turned to United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades, and Okeechobee Counties. The response was unforgettable.

All middle and high school band members across the School District of Lee County are now able to play music and continue to wear masks. Donations from Cape Coral Elks Lodge 2596 and Suncoast Credit Union helped the District buy 3,300 musician masks.

Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. has recently donated a F4LMHA engine to the Outboard Marine Services Technology Academy at Mariner High School. The value of the engine is $1,300. Yamaha has been in partnership with Mariner High School since the program’s inception in 2017.
