The Lee County Middle School Unified Track Meet will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at South Ft. Myers High School. 10 schools will send 160 athletes to compete.

Special Olympics Unified Sports combines students with intellectual or developmental disabilities (called “Athletes”) and students without intellectual disabilities or developmental disabilities (called “Partners”) on sports teams for training and competition. Through participation in Unified Sports schools help to build a society of acceptance and inclusion and create friendship opportunities.

Each school will bring a 4x100 and a 4x200 boys relay team and a 4x100 and a 4x200 girls relay team to the meet. Each team consist of 2 Athletes and 2 Partners.

Awards will be given to the top 6 teams in each event from the Finals (OR the top 6 times from preliminaries if necessary.) The top 3 teams of boys and the top 3 teams of girls combining places and times from all races will receive a team trophy. Every participant will receive a participant’s ribbon.
