All-County Orchestra Performs March 29th

You are invited to attend the Middle and High School, All-County Orchestras in Concert, with Elementary Strings, on the evening of Friday, March 29, 2019. The concert is hosted by South Fort Myers High School and will start at 7:00pm.

The students selected for the All-County Orchestra are being trained by Guest Conductors, helping them to perfect the chosen musical selections.

For the second year, the Elementary ensemble is under the direction of Lorie Gruneisen of Potsdam, New York. Lorie has been a music educator for more than 40 years, a member of numerous performing groups, and a string adjudicator for the New York State School Music Association.

The middle school guest clinician is Sarah Morrison from Lakeland. She currently serves as conductor of the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra Prelude Orchestra in Orlando. Morrison is an active all-county orchestra clinician, adjudicator, and presenter and is the current Chair of the Florida Orchestra Association Mentoring Committee.

The high school musicians will be led by Brian Hellhake from Freedom High School in Orlando. He is the music teacher and orchestra director for the school and frequent conductor of all-county orchestras in Florida.
