A week of raising money and awareness for the Make-A-Wish Foundation will come to an end at Estero High School with a Chili Cook-Off on Friday, February 15th. Estero students are participating in fundraisers or other activities every day at school for their Third Annual Wish Week before the public Friday finale.

"Estero High School is the only school in Lee County and the surrounding area to hold a Wish Week,” says Make-A-Wish Special Events Coordinator Emily Sumpmann. “The fact that this is their third year of helping to grant wishes is nothing short of amazing.”

Some of the activities planned during the week include dress up days, an ice cream social, and a coin drive. There will also be a pep rally with a Wish Celebration or a Wish Reveal. The Cook-Off will include a silent auction, games and music.

The goal of the Third Annual Wish Week is to raise $6,000, enough to grant one life changing wish to a child with a critical illness.
