What is Parent University?

Parent University was created to increase the capacity of parents and guardians to be actively engaged in their child's education. This is the third year that The School District of Lee County is providing Parent University.

Goal

The goal of the program is to inform and engage parents and guardians as partners, advocates, and lifelong teachers in their child's education through a series of educational courses.

Learning Sessions

Starting in November, tune in every second Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. on the District’s Facebook page and the District's YouTube page. Parents can graduate from Parent University by attending 75% of the scheduled learning sessions during a school year.
