July 31, 2026, for the 2026-2027 School year

• Final day to submit Waiver Request for different schools of enrollment for 26-27

Aug 19, 2026 – deadline for enrollment into Lee Virtual School for 1st Semester only/or for entire year 2026-2027

New Student Registration for 2027-2028 School year: November 16, 2026 – to enter The School District of Lee County for the 2027-2028 school year
*Incoming Kindergarten, New or Re-Enrollment all grade

January 8, 2027 – deadline for enrollment into Lee Virtual School for 2nd Semester only 2026-2027.

Student 2027-2028 Open Enrollment Period Begins January 8, 2027 – February 19, 2027,

• HS, MS and Elementary 27-28 choice applications in Focus Parent Portal on January 8th (available to current SDLC GR08 enrolling into public for GR09, current SDLC GR 05, and all pre-registered students K-12) All other students can complete a giving up seat form through parent portal to complete a choice application.

• Sibling Enrollment for 2027-2028 School Year: Registered Siblings will be placed with currently enrolled sibling during Open Enrollment and prior to lottery. Siblings MUST have common parent and common address. If parent submits a choice application, the sibling enrollment will be deleted.

High School Advanced Programs (Arts, AICE, IB, FGCU Collegiate) and Career Waivers

• Application via FOCUS portal due to the SCHOOL January 8th-January 22nd (2027-2028 Enrollment  receipt required with application.
• Auditions for Arts Schools & Application Reviews- January 25,2027-February 5, 2027
• District Internal Reviews of Schools’ Selections & Numbers- January 25,2027-February 5, 2027
• Final Parent Selection of Special Program- February 11th-February 19th
• Results to Parents- February 22, 2027
• Career Waiver Results to Parents- February 22, 2027
