The School District of Lee County is proud to announce a historic turnaround in its transportation system, achieving an unprecedented 98% morning on-time arrival rate during the 2025-2026 school year.

Harns Marsh Middle principal Alex Dworzanski challenged his students to help the school get an A-grade. In return, he went on a skydiving trip to face his fears.

Student success can also come from learning trades. East Lee County High's welding program has awarded the highest amount of certifications in its history with 30 certifications this year and a 100 percent pass rate in its 13 year history.

Jimey Moad started volunteering at North Fort Myers High School in 2016 when his daughters were in the marching band. Even though his girls graduated, Jimey stayed on to continue supporting the band.

Throughout the Strategic Budget Realignment process, the School District of Lee County has remained committed to providing factual information. Today, we are releasing preliminary staffing totals, and these figures will continue to shift in the days and weeks ahead.
