Cherise Trent is a dedicated educational leader with over three decades of experience driving academic excellence and systemic improvement as a teacher and administrator. Currently serving as the North Regional Associate Superintendent, Mrs. Trent oversees the performance of 22 schools and serves on the Superintendent’s Executive Cabinet, providing strategic resources and leadership to administrators across the region.
Throughout her career as a principal, she has become known for transforming schools and accelerating student achievement. Her leadership is defined by a "turnaround" mindset—taking complex, high-needs environments and building the systems, schedules, and cultures necessary for students to thrive.
Mrs. Trent is a Fort Myers native and a proud graduate of Fort Myers High School. She holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
