The Masonry Apprentice Expo is an annual event hosted by Florida Masonry, Inc., where Lee County high school students and masonry apprentices from across the state compete for a chance to win big. Video produced by Lee Schools TV student intern, Riley Barson.

The School District of Lee County is excited to announce that Dunbar High School has achieved yet another milestone in technology education. Student Brenden Fruauff is the school’s eighth Microsoft Office Specialist National Champion.

The School Board of Lee County and Superintendent Dr. Denise Carlin recently joined more than 420 school board members, superintendents, and education leaders at the FSBA/FADSS Annual Summer Conference. The conference provided three days of leadership development, networking, and training.

Over 70 Lee County students recently attended the 2025 Cyber Camp. It was an exciting week learning cybersecurity, coding, and the digital world!

The School District of Lee County is excited to launch Lee FlexEd, an opportunity for homeschool and private school students to use the Florida Empowerment Scholarship to attend select classes on one of our campuses.

The first graduating class of the Professional Nursing (LPN-RN) Program at Fort Myers Technical College will graduate on June 30th. The twelve students in the inaugural class have completed more than 450 hours of coursework and 450 hours of clinical practice, all while balancing a full-time workload as an LPN.
