Ida S. Baker High's Nikolas Korf showed his power and technique at the FHSAA State Weightlifting competition, placing in the top 10 in two categories. He showed his bulldog fight battling serious injuries and looks to keep the momentum going for next year.

A Heights Elementary third grader is running her own business not for her own profit, but to help children get the eye care they need. Camdyn Davis started Cami's Caps because she was diagnosed with an eye condition at one year old and wants to make sure kids are closer to getting access to eye care that she received.
