The School District of Lee County, under the direction of Superintendent Dr. Denise Carlin, is pleased to announce that the work has officially begun to streamline the district’s central office operations by reducing unnecessary bureaucracy.

If your student hasn’t said anything about using XELLO yet, they soon will. And there will be a chance for you to join them. XELLO is the only K-12 online program that fully engages every student in building the skills, knowledge, and plans for future success.

The School Board of Lee County represented the School District of Lee County in Tallahassee on March 19-20, 2025, to actively participate in the 38th Annual Day in the Legislature hosted by the Florida School Boards Association (FSBA).

The School District of Lee County is excited to announce that 41 students have been honored as 2025 Carson Scholars. The Carson Scholars Fund will provide each student with a $1,000 College Scholarship.

Congratulations are going out to Ms. Bertell from Caloosa Elementary School. This dynamic teacher was just named as the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce Educator of Excellence award winner.
