Acrylic Painting

Learn the skill and art of acrylic painting! This course is designed with the beginner painter in mind, moving towards intermediate.

  • Students are responsible for bringing their own supplies. A list will be provided a week before the class begins.
  • The class meets once a week for six weeks from 6:00-8:00 pm.
  • All Lee County Lifelong Learning classes must meet a minimum student enrollment or class will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund.

Family Art

Parents/Grandparents/Guardians: Spend some quality time with your young ones by creating art together! Under the instruction of a professional art teacher, you will work together to paint delightful works of art using watercolors and acrylics.

  • Supplies are included.
  • Children must accompany an adult.
  • Children must be 6 years or older and well behaved.
  • Price is for EACH participant.
  • The class meets once a week for six weeks from 5:00-6:00 pm.

Sumi-e Ink Wash Painting

Learn the skill and art of Sumi-e Eastern Asian ink wash painting! “Sumi” means “black ink” and “e” means “painting.” This way of painting was introduced into Japan by Zen monks and it then became rapidly successful. As in Zen practice, reality is expressed by reducing it to its pure, bare from. This course is designed for the beginner.

Pottery: Wheel Throwing

Guided by a professional potter in a pottery studio with one wheel per student, students will learn how to shape, glaze, and form their clay into beautiful creations to treasure.

  • $30 supplies’ fee is included in the price.

Watercolor Painting

Learn the skill and art of watercolor painting! Students will learn numerous watercolor techniques and how to mix colors. No experience necessary.
