Where can I find what classes are currently being offered?

The current schedule of classes can be found on our website: Lifelong Learning Web page. If you do not see a class that you are interested in taking, please email Ann Burnett at to request that it be a part of our next Lifelong Learning class session.

How do I register?

Registration for all Lifelong Learning classes is done online. Please check out our website at 

How do I pay for class?

Payments for all Lifelong Learning classes are made on the secure registration website, Eventbrite. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover credit and debit cards. If you have any questions, concerns or trouble signing up for class online you may call Ann Burnett at 239-939-6321 for assistance.

Class fees must be paid in full in order to reserve your spot in any of our exciting classes.

Are the dates, times and locations the same for all Lifelong Learning classes?

In an effort to best serve our community we offer classes at several locations with varied classes, days and times. We are committed to regularly update our classes in order to offer you the optimum selection of enjoyable, interesting, rewarding, and relevant classes available. Whether it’s to learn a new language, develop a new talent, exercise, enhance your workplace skills and so much more! Our Lifelong Learning Program is here for you! How will I know if I got into the class?

Seats for each class will be determined on a first come, first serve basis until classroom capacity is met, then the class will be considered full and we will no longer be able to accept students for the class. However, if demand is great, we will do our best to add another class to meet the needs of all Lee County residents. Upon completion of registration and payment you will automatically be notified via email that you are scheduled in class.

Are children allowed in the classroom?

No, only registered students are allowed to be in the classrooms.

*No children may be left unattended or unsupervised

When is a class cancelled?

Classes are primarily cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. However, the Lee County School District reserves the right to cancel any class for any reason at any time.

On the rare occasion that the instructor cannot be there, you will be notified via email and a make-up class will be arranged.

Can I get a refund?

Refund requests must be submitted 1 day before the start of the class.

Classes cancelled due to insufficient enrollment will be fully refunded.

Please note:

  • After the first week of class, materials fees and textbook purchases are nonrefundable.
  • Refunds are not issued for missed classes and classes are not pro-rated if you sign up after a class has started.

Do I need to purchase a course book or any material for my class?

Course material requirements vary from course to course. Currently, necessary materials that you may need to purchase will be handled by your course instructor.
