Assistant School Board Attorney II

As the Assistant School Board Attorney II, you will provide legal services and guidance to the Superintendent and District administration.  You will also review and negotiate contracts relating to District operations in a relevant area of legal service.  Additionally, you will provide oversight and input on legal matters in a relevant area of legal service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Jurisprudence from an accredited law school.
  • Member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
  • Admitted or eligible for admission to the bar of the United States Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida. 
  • Florida Bar Board Certification in relevant area of legal service preferred.
  • Four (4) years of experience as a practicing attorney with two (2) years of experience in relevant area of legal service.
  • Proven experience successfully managing multiple business functions in a leadership capacity preferred.
