The Teachers Association of Lee County (TALC) is holding a series of town hall style forums for community members, parents, students, teachers and education professionals to have the opportunity to meet, hear from and speak with the members of the Lee County school board.  The second of these forums will be 6:00- 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 11 and will feature District 7 representative Cathleen Morgan. The format will be informal and provide the opportunity for attendees to ask questions.  It will take place at this location:

Diplomat Middle School Media Center
1039 NE 16th Terrace
Cape Coral, FL 33909

“We look forward to this opportunity to hear from and speak with Mrs. Morgan. These forums are particularly important as we move through a challenging school year following the disruptions created by local flooding and Hurricane Irma. It is every parent, community member and public education employee’s responsibility to learn about their school board members and the direction they envision for our district and the board.  This is crucial to the education of our students,” said Mark Castellano, President of the Teachers Association of Lee County.

The Supervisor of Elections’ office will also be there to offer the opportunity for voter registration.

TALC will invite each of the board members to participate in a similar Town Hall style forum and looks forward to their response and the opportunity for an open and frank conversation with their constituents in Lee County.
