The Grow Your Own Scholarship Program surprised students from Ida S. Baker High School and Estero High School. Each student received a scholarship to FGCU and a guaranteed contract from the School District to return as a teacher.

Students from the Success Academy in Fort Myers enjoyed a day of team building skills. Together, they took on the Riverdale High JROTC Rope Challenge.

Makayla Uram, an eighth grade student from North Ft. Myers Academy for the Arts is the district winner of the Art in the Capitol Contest. Makayla's winning artwork is now on it's way to the Capital building in Talahassee.
