Makayla Uram, an eighth grade student from North Ft. Myers Academy for the Arts is the district winner of the Art in the Capitol Contest. Makayla's winning artwork is now on it's way to the Capital building in Talahassee.

Designs and Dreams of Young Artists Gallery Walk is celebrating it's 25th anniversary at the Lee County Public Education Center. This exhibit features the work of nearly 200 Lee County students, and is the largest display of student artwork in Florida.
