The District offers an Accident Policy through Allstate.

This is a voluntary benefit offered to employees who are working at least 20 hours or more in a regular position.

Accident coverage pays lump sum benefits to employees for on-and-off-the-job accidents for a variety of occurrences such as:

  • Dismemberment
  • Dislocation
  • Fracture
  • Ambulance Services
  • And more

Accident Insurance can help pay copays, deductibles and everyday living expenses.

Employees and qualified dependents can be covered. Dependent children are eligible until the end of the calendar year that they turn 26 years of age with no criteria.

There is a wellness benefit of $25 per calendar year for wellness screenings (i.e. mammograms, Pap smear, PSA, chest X-ray, etc.

Coverage is portable. If you leave the district this benefit can be continued as an individual plan at the same level of coverage when the insured terminates or retires.
